just a quick update
just got back from 1 day in dulles for meetings at aol hq, so it was whirlwind trip… i did manage to catch up with dan and ginger for a couple of hours after dinner last night though… i know i haven’t put many pictures or updates up lately, so i just added a couple of events from the last few weeks – a bbq, b-day celebration, wine festival, and bay to breakers… so there are some new shots to take a look at!
as for what i’ve been up too lately, i’ve started volunteering at the marine mammal center in the marin HEADlands of the golden gate recreation area. i help out on thursday nights from about 7:30 or 8:00pm to midnight-1am by feeding, cleaning, and giving medicine to the rescued animals (seals, sea lions, dolphins, porpoises, whales and sea otters) as they are rehabilitated. once they’re better, we release them back out into the ocean. it’s a great place, and i work with really great people! my only problem is the slight frost bite i got sorting frozen herring for feeding! gotta watch that cold water!!

bay to breakers – may 19
so the annual “bay to breakers” race/party was sunday… it was pouring rain, the wettest in 25 years i guess… but we had a blast anyway, walking the first 3 miles or so, then running/jogging the rest… i got a couple of shots, but with all of the rain, there aren’t many… hopefully next year will have better weather! photos here
