Justin set us up with night at the Nutcracker and dinner afterward at Jardinaire. We had a great time – and it was a neat production – at the same theater that hosted the first production of the Nutcracker in the US. Kinda neat to think about that!

Christmas Eve and Day in Vegas
We had a great time – the usual dinner on Christmas Eve with Heather’s family and this year we had the Cottrill’s to help Randy and I out. Chris was in from Ohio and Rob and Erica were in from Atlanta. We had a great time – the weather was great and it was great to hang out and enjoy the hot tub!
New Years in Tahoe
We had a house in Tahoe for five days over New Years (BIG thanks to Katherine for organizing!). Our goal was to get out of the city, enjoy the skiing, and chill with friends (me, Katherine, Nick, Brady and Kelvin were our small crew this time). Well we got out of the city and we sure did chill ( NYE we slept in 41 degrees – IN the house!!) – but the skiing left a bit to be desired. I guess that had to do with the three days of rain in a row! Oh well – there’ll be more skiing for sure – and we came home with some great stories!
