grandma and grandpa had their 50th anniversary yesterday, so we had a surprise party for them… all the kids – jenn, chris, gabe and i were there, along with the babies – jack, maddie and lily… so we played and celbrated and had a good time for the new years week… of course

katie hosted an incredible holiday party again this year – not quite the late night we had last year, but still a great time with good friends, great food, and fun gifts! as always – there were laughs from the vibrating ducky to the leopard print lined leather cuffs to the rudolph the red nosed raindeer wine bottle cover… as always photos

since dan and ginger are out – i decided that everyone needed to stop and take bi-plane rides on the way to the winaries in napa. dan, ginger, rosalind, joakim, and i headed on up to do some flips, rolls, stalls, dives, etc… jae spent the rest of the day regretting that he didn’t head up into the sky, but too bad! then we headed off to a few winaries niebaum coppola, cakebread cellars and beaulieu vineyard. some great wines and a great day, especially since beaulieu was doing a vintage tasting, so we’ve all tasted our first 1969 Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, along with many others from the 70’s to the 90’s… all in a all a great day! of course, a few photos here…
