We had a house in Tahoe for five days over New Years (BIG thanks to Katherine for organizing!). Our goal was to get out of the city, enjoy the skiing, and chill with friends (me, Katherine, Nick, Brady and Kelvin were our small crew this time). Well we got out of the city and we sure did chill ( NYE we slept in 41 degrees – IN the house!!) – but the skiing left a bit to be desired. I guess that had to do with the three days of rain in a row! Oh well – there’ll be more skiing for sure – and we came home with some great stories!

Marcus and Stroup’s annual “White Trash Birthday” party was last night at Route 101. Its a bit scary how … uhm… “natural” I looked in WT gear! Crazy!

New Years in Tahoe was a crazy time. Katherine, Nick, Brady, Kelvin and I braved it all though – 3 days of rain (so a lot of down time – playing pool, etc) then the power goes out in north lake and west lake (and sleeping in a 41 degree house New Years Eve!). No matter what we had a good time – meeting up with Michelle, Matt, Sarah and Robert at Squaw for the actual New Years Eve celebration too. We did actually get a bit of good skiing in – and ended the weekend at the “Spa at Squaw Creek” with massages, hot tubs and water basketball in the outdoor pool!
